Can they do that just like that? I mean I spent a few bucks on it, but there are people who spent hundreds and thousands!

Yep i should imagine that they could just pull the plug if they want to, im sure that these games state in their TOSs that the villages etc are not yours and they can do pretty much what they like...
or, they will just leave it until the older platforms are just not supported anymore, and you have no way to update it...

We also had Z2 forum posts from developers saying that they would never take resources from Battle Nations accounts. One day they decided that they were going to enforce storage limits, and anything over the limit would be forfeit. After showing them the post, the reply was something along the lines of "yeah, but..." and the resources were gone. Ever since then I cut way back on my Battle Nations activity. Now I spend much more time on Trade Nations than Battle Nations. The day they pull the plug on Trade Nations is the day I stop playing Battle Nations.
Z2's word on something is probably not worth the electricity it takes to display on your monitor. Sadly I would not be surprised if they pulled the plug without giving any prior notice.

Z2's word on something is probably not worth the electricity it takes to display on your monitor. Funny! Yes. They have long since lost my trust. Remember when TN was pulled from Facebook? I don't know exactly the link between Z2 and EA games, but this was how EA did it. help.ea.com/en/article/trade-nations-is-being-retired/I remember thinking... this is not good.

I liked playing the facebook version of TN. They had a lot of different animals and some really cool stuff for holidays. Was sorry to see it go.

Would love to have the game updated and play gain. As its I have 11 towns sadly idle and so are most of the neighbors. Sad I play now the Simpsons tapped out but neither the game nor the Comunity is to be compared. So glad wizardnana told me about this forum.

I want to know what they plan on doing with TN before I spend more money on it. I would like to get my venue bonus up on my Bf/M (it's about 100% now). However, since new players can't join, I'm afraid it will be phased out and I would be wasting my money.
I use to play We Rule and then, when that company canceled the game, I lost everything. I couldn't access my game even if it was just to take snapshots of my lands to show my accomplishments.

the heyday of the game was probably 3/4 years ago, it clear that they are not doing anything with it anymore by the lack of updates etc. they have pulled it from the appstores, so eventually it will just fade away anyway i think...
Sorry to be pessimistic but at this point, i genuinely wouldn't spend any more money on the game... Unless of course it would bring you pleasure and enhance your game for the time you are playing it to do so....

I am hoping when King takes over they will revamp the game. I am still addicted to it. But until that happens I wouldn't spend any more money on it.

Was the game removed before or after z2 was bought? If z2 removed it then it may still have a chance. If King removed it after they purchased it then I am less optimistic.
Luckily I have the game on my ipod and ipad and iphone.

To be honest, im not sure it matters whether it was before or after... If it was after well there you go, they arent interested, but if it was before, then the game will probably be completely beneath the radar and not even acknowledged by the new owners.
so sorry it if seems like im being pessimistic or negative, i dont mean to be, but these games really dont last for ever and this one, wonderful as it was in its day, is no exception.
imho its best to accept that this game is dead and look for the next tn that this wonderful community can play together...

If only we could find a TN style game and then get everyone to play it. I have tried lots and lots of games but nuthin like TN yet.
Question: I search the App Store using these words below. Can you think of any others to search with?
explore build island farm
