How do you add/delete threads you want to get notifications on? I checked the notifications section but didn't see anything to select threads.

Nana, I think as soon as you participate in a thread, you will continue to get notification via the forum notification. But you can always turn off notification via email if that becomes annoying or overwhelming.

Ok don't laugh PB but I thought you were a guy. Only now did I notice the male/female symbol on the lower right of the avys. Getting old is soo much fun...NOT Froggie: WoW!! All your daughters are soo talented!! Oh Nana, you are too much! The only uncertainty I had was what Patricia nick name was: Tricia or Pat.

I did it the first day but now I forgot how to do it! Nuthin in my 'Wizards for Dummies' either.

GRRRRRRRRR Got to love old houses. Our's is 110 yrs old. Bob has/had 2 major projects going. The kitchen plaster removed on some walls and drywall on all. Then floor/ceilings, ect # 2 replacing the wood siding on the out side. Now # 3 we had a thaw and I now have a new shower in my foyer, water damage on the wall and ceiling. Most he can fix but some of the fancy plaster border is gone and don't know if anyone even does that kind of work any more. Been one of those days.

Our house isn't as old as LJ's but we're having our annual spring thaw/leaky roof issue. A couple of pots strategically placed in chronic spots. The architect was from Califronia and didn't really and truly understand the importance of insulation, pitch of roof, and type of roof. Califronia style house doesn't stand up to Ottawa style winters

Lulu... what does that mean? Is it an English expression? I'm not familiar Oh... I just learned something about one of my favorite actresses, Gillian Anderson (from the X-Files). I learned today that she is British. She appeared on Top Gear, a car show my hubby watches. She opened her mouth and spoke with the most eloquent accent and I am that much more enamored.

Hey Ladyjane, Home improvement is trying but so rewarding when it's done. We are going to tackle our kitchen this spring so hopefully no surprises. Our house is late 1970's so hopefully it won't be too bad. Are you in the US? I would recommend my contractor, he is the most honest and skilled at what he does.

Lulu - This is what you would have found if you were scheduled to come last week. That's suppose to be a eating table buried in snow. That's Landon's kiddie pool. 3 ft.
