Lulu, hope you have a better day tomorrow! Here is something for you in addition to your 2 cups of tea. Today was a yucky day for me too, I didn't feel good all day due to a cold and was stuck at work until 5 pm. By that time, snow started piling on the roads and my normal 30 minute commute took 90 mins. Everyone was driving 10 mph. Kitoko, post more pictures, I'd love to learn more about the project. Anyway, I will be looking up the west-coast folks next time I visit California.

Kitoko, We are planning a family trip to Washington state and then Vancouver possibly. Towards end of summer. We'll see.
Lulu, Feeling better, I left work early and slept for 4 hours. It's just a pesky little cold.

I'm still Spring cleaning. Then I hope to get back to my art studio and try to be creative. I've been in a creative block lately. I have a dozen unfinished projects layin around taunting me. I need some inspiration so if you have a creative side, maybe you could post some pics of what you have done or are doing? maybe we could start a Project thread in the Lounge for folks to post what projects, DIY, art etc they are working on or have finished? What do ya think? I haven't been bitten by the spring-cleaning bug just yet. (maybe because I'm still looking at 3 feet of snow outside) urg. But we are looking to redo our kitchen. It's going to be a serious project with a combination of professional help and lots of DIY. Not exactly a fun art project. Oh wait.... I am thinking about learning now to knit. I'd be happy to share my experience there. (I know the men on this forum are probably cringing right now.) Next thing, we will be exchanging recipes. lol

I have to tell you about my dream last night. A giant Pink Pony was chasing me, trying to stomp on me. Then I heard someone yelling, "It's Pinky" so I stopped and Pinky said, "I've been trying to catch up with you but you kept running away!" oops

Peter helped me to fix my broken iPad screen. He's a very patient teacher. I woke up before dawn this mornin, checked the coffee maker clock which said 5:30! So I skittered back to my warm bed and open my iPad to read the forum and I just now saw the real time! I don't much like lozin an hour but I do like it being lighter later! Oh, gotta go...I smell coffee!!! Back later... (Dang, old people ramble on

Time change day always messes me up Last sat night daughter #3's Stage Band (jazz) won a silver medal in a music festival! She had a sax solo in one piece and piano in another, and during the post performance clinic the adjudicator singled put her performance. Proud momma moment indeed.

Only now did I notice the male/female symbol on the lower right of the avys. Getting old is soo much fun...NOT Froggie: WoW!! All your daughters are soo talented!!
