Good job Lulu on the picture!! I use the same app to text in Chinese. I can speak it, but can't read and write, so I use the dictation feature to communicate with my relatives in Taiwan. It's awesome! I just say it in Mandarin and it types it for me. It reads it back too. Not really a gadget and not even high-tech. But if you get cold all the time, this thing is great. It's called Toasty Toes and I have one at work and one at home. Since I am always cold, this is one item I can not live without (winter or summer). It is safe and only uses 90w (same as a light bulb).

Thanx LuLu, I will download it. Annie, that is a cool (err warm) gadget. Thin people are always cold. I used to sneak up on people with my freezing cold hands and touch their neck! Now I am fat and sassy and always too hot! Gotta love menopause. My new gadget turns my old vhs tapes to cd's. I just have to figure out how to use the dang thing! I am hopeless when it comes to technology. I only recently got a cell phone and I have trouble figuring that one out too!

Don't tell me you can make phone calls on the iPad?!? I mean, I've done Skype (no video), Bec talked me into doing FaceTime. She is adorable and such a sweetie and I was extremely nervous! (Don't laugh Hannah) the buttons are so dang tiny! Hmmm, maybe I just have a crummie cell phone. Ok, this makes me sound like a crazy ole woman so I best stop.

There is an app called "Talkatone"
You can make calls over WiFi and does not use your minutes. You can install this on an iPad too and it turns your iPad into a phone. It use to be free for the longest time and I always used it on vacation. It became so popular, now they change a tiny fee of $1 usd for 60 minutes. It's an awesome app and it's essentially free!
Using Toasty Toes as I type... ahhhh feels so good... promotes good circulation too! You can find it on Amazon.com
