Just read an article about a man who found a giant bag of cash ($224,000) that fell out of a Brinks armored vehicle and returned it.
its an age old dilemma... Return it or Keep it? I'd like to set up a scenario for you to ponder and answer.. Here goes...
A large bag of cash ($350,000) falls out of an Armored Truck on a remote road while you are traveling out of state. The cash is Insured & untraceable. What would you do?
A - Return it and if so, why
B - Keep it and if so, why
C - Just for fun... If the Man had Kept the money, what would be your advice on what he should do with it and how... (cant wait to hear your advice. I'll give mine a bit later)
Anyone else have a "What Would You Do" scenario??

I think I would return it and hope for a sizable reward. It would be extremely tempting to keep it. If I came across that much money I would refurnish my house. My bedroom furniture is older than I am - hand me downs even though I have been married 42 years. New sofas for the living room would be nice as well. I might do a remodel of the kitchen as well even though my house is only 3 1/2 years old. Nice to think of all the things I could do!  |

If I'm to be honest, I'd probably hang on to the money for a day then my conscious would tell me to give it back which I would. But for that day, all sorts of battles would be fought on my shoulders. You know, the angel sittin on one side and the devil on the other. (I'm picturing Hannah as the angel whispering in my ear... "Give it back you brat!" And I would whisper back..."I didn't know Angels weighed so much") the devil would be tellin me to stash the cash in the Caimans I think... |
