I miss a chapter: how to make garlic sauce for the legs.... Easy - use the marinade recipe below Ozark Bear RoastOne bear roast, 3-4 pounds 8 cloves garlic 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 2 (6-oz.) cans sliced mushrooms Marinade: 2/3 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 cup chopped onion 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon ground ginger With a sharp knife, pierce the roast about two inches deep, and insert a clove of garlic. Do likewise with the remaining garlic cloves. Season the roast with salt and pepper, and place in a large glass baking dish. Mix the marinade ingredients, and pour over the roast. Marinate in the refrigerator 12 to 24 hours, basting with marinade whenever possible. Place the roast in a large Dutch oven or roasting pan. Pour the marinade over the roast. Cook in a 250-degree oven for 4 to 4-1/2 hours, or until the internal temperature is at least 170 degrees. Add mushrooms to the pan the last hour of cooking. Serves 4 to 8.

I am so excited. My middle daughter has been an Air Cadet for several years and will be graduating this year. I serve on the Board of Directors for her squadron. We're preparing right now for the Annual Ceremonial Review and one of my tasks is to get the awards and trophies updated - I received the list late last night. My daughter will be receiving an award as the outstanding level 5 cadet! What a wonderful way for her to graduate from the squadron. I have to keep this a secret for another 3 1/2 weeks but I can blab here safely

Well I can keep a secret fairly well but I made the mistake of telling my husband. He cannot keep anything secret. One Christmas, I came home from work, probably around the 15th, to find him setting up the family gift of a new tv. He couldn't wait any longer.

He digs a deep hole, shouts the secret into it and covers it with sand.... Long grass grows on the spot in only a few weeks....and when the wind blows, the grass whispers the secret for everyone to hear...... I wonder what will happen to this website in the next few weeks...:-))))
