Does anyone know how to download this tune from YouTube? I must have it. It brings back that nostalgic feeling like nothing else.

Haha you mad woman!
Yes there is a way to convert it to an mp3 file. To be honest ive only done it once and that was with someone coaching my every step and i still managed to get all confused and dunderheady with it. Let me talk to them and see if they can remind me, or if you want a sensible explanation maybe google it! Lol

I can convert it for you, I just need to get a new monitor first The computer that has the software to play around with that stuff no longer has a working screen...

Hah. I don't think I ever played TN with sound after the first night. I have no idea what anything sounds like.

It's kind of funny that your FPS are Doom and Quake. Do you still have a 286 DOS machine?

I got Doom, Final Doom, Doom II, Hexen, Heretic, Hexen II, Quake and Duke Nuke'Em 3D for $20 CAD total. Yeah, I know, I'm aging myself - but those games were sooooo fun and so mind blowing when they were released. It's been a fun little stroll down memory lane. The only console we've ever bought was a Wii because my SO wanted Rock Band for the kids. The only games anyone ever plays on it are Mario Kart and Animal Crossing. edit: oh yeah - I forgot - you had to have a 486 to play Doom. I think you needed a 486 for Wolfenstein 3D.

Awesome. I confess I like old games a lot better than the new ones. I got my BIL an Atari emulator machine that plays a lot of the classics. I have enjoyed it a lot more than he did. . Star Wars Dark Forces is my favorite FPS ever. I took forever to finish each level as I inched my way forward and sniped those stormtroopers one by one. I never just entered a full room blasting away.

Sounds and smells are terribly evocative... But am i the only person that "never" has game music/sounds on?? I dont think i could pick out the tn music from a sound up (erm like a line up only with sound) if you paid me!

In the beginning, I always had the sound on but that was only cause I couldn't figure how to turn it off!! Now I can't get the Smurf tune outta my head! Argh!
